Students can apply to the Georgia Tech-Lorraine’s graduate program as a master’s student, PhD student, or Double Degree student. As Georgia Tech-Lorraine is the European campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology, all applicants must apply directly to the Georgia Institute of Technology. This must be done online using the Graduate Admissions websites listed below and must be completed by March 1st for the Fall semester and by September 1st for the Spring semester for ECE and ME candidates.
The College of Computing requires completed applications by February 1 for the following Fall semester.
For partner school students, applying to the Masters of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering or to the Master of Science in Mechanical engineering, the online application must be completed by March the 1st for Fall semester and August 1st for Spring semester.

Three letters of recommendation from engineering faculty
High scores on two US graduate school admission tests:
TOEFL iBT (see below) - TOEIC accepted if >750
100/120 (CS)
79/120 (ECE)
94/120 (ME)
GRE scores required are:
Verbal > 146/170
Quantitative >159/170
Analytical Writing > 3.5/6.0
Students from partner institutions should first verify with their Directeur des Relations Internationales that the school will support their application. They should also prepare carefully and register for the GRE and TOEFL (or TOEIC) tests. Students should read the partner school information page prior to filling out their online application.
As Georgia Tech-Lorraine is the European campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology, all applicants must apply directly to the Georgia Institute of Technology. Once online, simply follow the directions below to complete your application.
1. Once on the Graduate Admissions website, please select the desired degree program from the left-bar menu. The degree program page lists all the graduate degree programs offered at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
2. Select your program of interest: Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
3. Once you've selected a program, this page will provide general program information. Please read this page carefully as it provides important program information and required scores for the the English-language based tests: TOEFL, TOEIC and GRE.
4. At the bottom right of the page, select Apply Now to apply.
5. Select Continue to Application to begin the online application process.
