Campus Life

Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many on and off campus organizations at Georgia Tech Lorraine. In addition to its core mission of higher education and scientific research, the staff at GTL works hard to ensure that each student feels welcomed and enjoys their stay in the Lorraine region.
Student Board (BDE) The Georgia Tech-Lorraine Student Government (BDE) helps organizes events throughout the year and is the link between students, faculty and GTL administration. As the student body is composed of French, American, and international students, the BdE is representative of our student body.
Each student is a member of the association, but leading the organization are a president, vice-president ME, vice-president ECE, treasurer and secretary. The BdE leadership is elected at the beginning of the year (typically after 4-5 weeks of class) and is in position for one year. We encourage students and parents to visit the BDE web page to learn more about our activities and how you can make a difference.
