Admission Requirements

Georgia Tech-Lorraine accepts admission applications from all majors from Georgia Tech and most leading U.S. universities. Space in the program is limited. Eligible students will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis only. Admission to the program is based on the following requirements:

Good Academic Standing:
Participants must have a clean disciplinary record and be in good academic standing at the end of the Spring semester in order to be eligible.

2.3 Minimum GPA:
Students with a GPA of 2.3 or above will be admitted upon application. Students with a GPA slightly below 2.3 will be reviewed individually, and if applicable, will be notified of their admission as soon as possible.

Minimum Number of School Hour Credits:
Students must register for a minimum of 10 SCH for summer and 12 SCH for the fall and spring semesters. Special permission to register for more than 15 SCH will be required.

Language Proficiency:
All classes, except for language classes, are taught in English. Therefore, knowing French is not mandatory to attend this progam. However, students are strongly encouraged to study basic French prior to their arrival in France and language classes will be available at GTL.

Once all application materials are received and reviewed, a Letter of Acceptance into the Program will be issued by the Office of International Education. For any change or information regarding your application, please contact Catherine Bass.

Note: The program reserves the right to change and cancel at any time.
