Overworked and overstressed because you’re trying to do a week’s worth of assignments in just a few days?

Take a minute for your mental health and come hang out in the GTL lounge TOMORROW evening from 6pm to 7pm. The GTL BDE will be providing FREE snacks and hot and cold drinks! Stick around and chat and play some games,
or just grab a coffee and get back to work.

Additonally, we’ll have information regarding the ordering of GTL apparel. Don’t pass up the opportunity to get your hands on some very cool GTL gear! Hope to see you there!

Super Bowl Sunday!!

Hello Everyone! Tomorrow night– Sunday at midnight the BDE will be hosting a super bowl party. The game will be playing in the lounge and refreshments will be provided! LASER TAG

Bonjour!

On Tuesday, *February 7th* at *20h00* the BDE has reserved two hours of *LASER
TAG* for *50 participants*.

The price will be *5 euros* for non-drivers and *FREE for drivers*. We are
looking for 13 volunteers to drive people to and from the event.

*This event is capped at 50 people*, no exceptions!! Sign-up is on a first
come first serve basis and *cash payment will be due by Friday the 3rd*. If
you haven’t paid by then your spot will be given to someone else, so
sign-up quick!

Thanksgiving Dinner

The BDE will be hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner at Georgia Tech Lorraine on, (you guessed it) Thanksgiving, which is Thursday, November 24th. The dinner will be in the style of a “potluck,” which means that the only thing necessary to attend is to bring a dish to share! Please bring enough food for at least everyone in your party — so find your favorite recipe and make the full batch! ( Store-bought items are less fun… but totally acceptable. ) Click on this link to register for the event, AND be automatically entered in a raffle (a lottery) to win one of 10 prizes including a 30 Euro Gift Card to Cora!!!!

The dinner will take place in the student lounge, and seating will begin at 7pm. During the dinner will be a slide show of photos of everyone’s adventures and travels during the semester!

Also, in past years we have had a talent show, i.e. students performing special talents, skills or songs. If you are interested in performing at the Thanksgiving dinner, send us an e-mail at gtlbde@gmail.com. Students who do sign-up to perform will get to go through the dinner line first (well… right after the families with kids)!!! If you need a guitar / keyboard/ microphone, please e-mail us and we will try to set you up!

Thanksgiving has been a great event in GT-Lorraine’s history and we are looking forward to continuing the tradition!

BDE Game Night

Next Tuesday night is the first BDE GAME NIGHT!

Come play chess, poker, board games, card games, and more!

There will be cheese! Over 20 kg of cheese and baguettes. Try Comte, St. Agur, Muenster, Epoisses, Beaufort, Brie, Tomme,Camambert, Roquefort and more! There will be chips and other snacks for non-cheese-lovers.
REMEMBER, this all happens next Tuesday!
