Hello guys and gals

On behalf of all the BDE members who shall be leaving GTL, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who made this semester a kick-ass fun semester (as had been promised by the BDE in the beginning!). We hope you enjoyed all the events organized by the BDE, amongst other activities that the BDE has been involved in.

Hope you have plenty of fond memories to take back to your home. We know we have many !:)

Come blast off your engines and have a blast at Go-karting at ZAC AUGNY (METZ KART INDOOR) tomorrow on the 13th of April.

Rides leave from GTL at 7.30 pm.

The laser tag event at Kinepolis was a grand success! Hours of fragging, hours of FUBAR for some (!), and hours of frikkin fun… More photos soon on the BDE website

Hope you all enjoyed a nice winter break (it seems like it got over ages back!). Now that you are back from the ‘break’, it’s time to get back in the groove and put your skills to the test for the Tournament Night.

We have 5 different games scheduled to start tomorrow (9th March)at 6 pm - Chess, Ping-pong, Texas Holdem, Pool and Wii Mario Cart. Registration sheets have been put up at the 2nd floor notice board for each. Moreover, there are prizes to be won in each category: Winner gets 20 euros, Runner-up 10 euros.

If by chance you don’t have classes or plan to bunk them and won’t be coming to college in these 2 days, or can only come at some particular time (say after 7 pm), send a mail to Prateek (prateekpande@yahoo.co.in) for registration and he’ll do the needful.

Looking forward to an awesome tournament night with everyone. Let the games begin!

This tuesday night will be game night again. So gear up again for some pool, chess, ping pong, poker, board games, card games, Wii, and Xbox 360, along with informal tournaments for the same. Chips and drinks will be served!  We will start around 7:00 pm in the student lounge. Bring your own games too and double the fun!

We will start off the activities at 7:00 pm (19:00) on Tuesday.
This event will also be a cheese tasting event. Along with drinks and chips, we will have lots of bread and cheese… that you pick!

Here is how it works, send an email to wise_house@yahoo.com, stating what cheese(s) you love, and whether or not you are French. We will take it from there.

It is THANKSGIVING time! GTL BDE has organized a grand thanksgiving dinner party on Thursday, 26th November in the GTL Lounge, starting at 7 pm. It is our great pleasure to invite you and your family for the event. The BDE is going to serve you the turkey and drinks. And like every year, each person/family joining us in the event will be bringing a dish of their own choice. Those who would like to join us for the event, please sign up on the sheet put on the BDE board on Level 1. There are many other activities
organized by the BDE for the event, for people of all age groups. So do not hesitate to bring your whole family and please mention, how many members of your family will be coming. Also, it would be great if you could write to me a few lines stating, what each of you are thankful for and if you like, you can send a few photographs too. We are hoping that you will join us for this great event and are awaiting your positive response.

Update

1) The BDE has planned to organize a talent show during the Thanksgiving dinner, wherein, everyone will get a chance to show their talent for a certain amount of time. In the end, a winner will be chosen depending on public voting and he/she/they will receive a prize money of 50 Euros. Any
and every kind of talent is welcome. You can register for the event by writing your name on the THANKSGIVING registration forms on the BDE board along with the dish that you will prepare and bring and what you would like to present.
